I don't feel well today. Could be the heat.

Unwell:

Somewhat prone to illness; my poor ailing grandmother; feeling a bit indisposed today, you look a little peaked; feeling poorly; a sickly child; is unwell and can't come to work.

Ailing, indisposed, peaked, poorly, under the weather, sickly, seedy - affected by an impairment of normal physical or mental function.

However, two recent events have inspired me.

Firstly, Rick Bylina, an American writing colleague, published a very frank review of my newly released novel, Tidal Surge, on his blog.

Secondly, another associate allowed me to talk about why I consider writing a novel as an art-form.

Small kindnesses cheer the weakest hours. Have you done anything lately to bring happiness into someone's life?

I feel better already after my husband made a nice meal. Didn't think I was hungry.

It always helps me to remember that each moment will pass...both good and bad. Rest and listen to music that feels soothing. IT really helps me release.

The heat is less today and I've been resting. Tomorrow, I hope to be fighting fit.

Dear Francene, I'm sorry that you're not feeling well. Maybe you'll have a break in the heat today, and that will help you to feel better. Congrats on the great review on your book! Get better!!

Francene I was overcome by the heat Sunday here in upstate New York so I can say with authority that the heat could possibly be the cause of your feeling poorly. We've gotten temporarily relief here and I can only hope you get some relief soon on "the other side of the pond". Congrats on the review. Feel better soon.

The temperature is cooler here. I guess the body takes a while to catch up.

So glad you took the time to read the posts, Suerae. Sometimes, it's handy to have something up your sleeve for times of trouble.

I think we have all felt the effect of the heat these past two weeks? I have ensured my dying mother is comfortable and my partner who is in a wheelchair has kept as cool as possible. Heat and MS do NOT mix
